She's always happily residing away in a quiet corner of the ONIONS' nest, where almost all of the world's best buds can be found in :) HAPPY & CHEERFUL (though sometimes she can get real LAME or SILLY) + an all-time 24/7 ANIMAL LOVER, you'll always find her having both eyes glued to those lovely earth creatures. haha :D

& as life goes on, she's found that SEAGULLS' another group of pals whom she can relate her problems to. Totally obsessed with that two-digit number, she just can't help but put #14 on every jersey she owns. No matter how good or bad things are, she promises to clear a little space in her heart for her most beloved VOLLEY, just like she'd done so too for BLUE, MATHS, STARS & naturally without doubt, that really really special SOMEONE... x) yay!

sad. sad. sad. and so we lost 2 ngee ann too, with scores like 6 - 25 (1st set) and 5 - 25 (2nd set). sigh... but they sure were strong and we didn't really 屏 with all our mights. so i guess, our tiniest tiniest hope of getting pass this round in the volley tournament has almost completely faded away.

but there's one more match left 2moro. pitting aginst haixing will be slightly easier but still, we must win them with scores of 25 - 'less than 10' for each set, if we ever want 2 stand a chance in entering the next round... i know it might be a little tough to accomplish that goal but it's our only last hope. so why not let's all just 屏 till the end and give it our best shot ??

there shall be no more sad feelings, no more high hopes, but there's still one last chance standing, waiting...

and we'll catch it

ok. so we lost the match against dunman high school with scores that were so so so soooo ever close:

1st set: 20 - 25
2nd set: 23 - 25

but even so, i believe that 'seagulls' have tried their very best and if not for that referee, we could definitely have played much much better... :'( take for example the fact that everytime we scored a point, the opponent's court would have 'ball- in'. wouldn't u find it a mere coincidence ?? and when neither ju nor glor touched the net, she would just blow the whistle and filed us 'for having 碰网’. ok. so now, i ask you -- what kind of referee is this ??

anyways, there would be 2 more matches just 'round the corner -- 1 against ngee ann (28 jan which is a monday), the other against hai xing sec (29 jan which is on a tuesday). let's all just hope that real hopefully, 'seagulls' will be able to see some reward from all the effort we have put in during our various sessions of trainings...

so come on, 'seagulls', come on every1. we must all 屏到底 and prove 2 mr tay and seniors that we're not as bad as they think, kays ?? after all, like what huimin said have said before, 'SEAGULLS ARE MEANT TO FLY HIGH IN THE SKY...'

and we will.

PS. hope that over at the guy's side, they too, would be able 2 accomplish better results during their upcoming 2 matches... haha xD really, all the best to ya people... 加油！

ok... so recently if u've been checking out the tagboard, lots of numbers have been appearing -- about what numbers i like, why i love it and blah blah blah... so it reminded me of this e-mail which i received earlier on before the secrets behind the number 11. ok... so i took a deep breath cos never did i once expect that the no. of sec 1s who turned up 4 the volley audition 2 be like more than... 20 ?? wow !! that mr tay sure is way better than i thought at pulling people !! haha:) anyways, since it was raining, we had 2 share the audi with the volley guys too. so just try picturing over a 110 pple cramming in2 a teeny weeny space...

our job was put very nicely in a short sweet statement: to train the newly sec 1s in spiking and 下手. all in all, there were 2- 3 batches of groups of about 10- 15 pple each (sounds pretty confusing huh ?? hmm...) and that can only mean that each of us were allocated 2 one.

better not comment too much on their performance but some can be said to be rather I-M-P-R-E-S-S-I-V-E. wow... maybe next year, the chosen 12'll have a better chance at doing the school proud xD but i must say that over at the guys side, they were much better at training cos in less than say..., an hour, they had almost all the sec 1s spiking across the net !! and somemore, they were trained as 1 whole group !!

anyways, we couldn't do much 2day cos most of the time was spent on the auditions already. so we were left with less than about 30 minutes 2 play among ourselves b4 we 解散 and headed for home sweet home. *yawn*

first, let me ask you this question: what do you call a blog that hasn't been updated for more than say..., 5 days ?? for me, i guess i'd call it a S-U-P-E-R D-E-A-D blog !! haha xD just being silly over here... know it's been some time already but i'll try 2 fill it with more newer posts whenever possible, kays ?? let's leave it as a promise, just between you and me. *winks* haha... xD

so this year's sec 1 sure is a lively batch xD 'cause in quite a short timing, we got almost all of them hollering their lungs out the cheers the school wanted them 2 learn. to imagine that during our time, we just sat there, so wide- eyed, so un- enthu, so quiet, and only bothered to stare blankly into the faces of the others 4 the whole time... haha xD

anyways, 4 about 1 1/2 hour, we screamed and screamed a lot, but i must say that it WAS filled with lots of fun. at least, the rewarding part came when the sec 1s finally responded back with the 2 or 3 cheers they've memorised. yay !! after all, cramming roughly 7 cheers in your brain at once was no mean feat at all...

so, even though it wasn't that easy 2 warm them up initially, but all in all, at least our efforts 总算没有白费了... thankfully... xD haha...

it WAS worth celebrating :)

ok. so the first day of school re- opening wasn't too bad... found it quite funny, suddenly meeting all my old classmates again -- how they've changed in terms of looks, sizes, height and many many more xD haha !! there's been quite a handful of changes too -- ranging from teachers to class committee to classroom. hopefully (crossing my fingers now), everything would go smoothly, if not, more smoothly this year...

our usual (volley) gang of about 12- 13 also managed 2 play volley during recess 2day. it's probably one of the best times i'll ever had with great classmates like gloria, szemin, jeanette, yanzhan and pearl... (clairene plus shukkan too, and every1 else whom i've missed out... yikes !!) 2HM shall rule in the volley inter- class held this year, agree ?? haha :)

and so that's about it. 30 minutes of exciting enjoyment soon passed and we all trudged back 2wards class 4 lessons, with brand new wishes 4 a brand new year...
